VIC: Two charged over 400 marijuana plants

MELBOURNE, April 21 AAP - Two men have been charged after Victorian police raided a house
in Melbourne's east and discovered 400 marijuana plants behind false walls today.

Senior Constable Wayne Wilson said the large crop in a Boronia house was supported by water
pumps, large lights to provide warmth and fans.

The plants were in varying stages of maturity, he said.

Two men, aged 31 and 37, charged with trafficking, cultivating and possessing cannabis,
would appear at Ringwood Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
