Albany21 Maginn6 ALBANY -- Joe Grasso is the principal at Bishop Maginn High and Joe Burke is the dean of students. Grasso has also been the head football coach for 27 years and, up until this year, Burke was Grasso's assistant coach for 18 years.

But their relationship goes beyond the school and the sidelines. Grasso is Burke's uncle, and on Saturday the nephew one-upped the uncle.

Burke, who took over as head coach at Albany this year, got his first victory as a head coach as his improving Falcons defeated the Griffins 21-6 in a Big 10 game played before a boisterous Albany homecoming crowd at Bleecker Stadium. …
