Accident destroys bright futures: Coal truck driver fined for hauling overweight load

The three college students killed when their car slid in front ofa coal truck included a young couple beginning life together in Ohioand an ambitious girl studying to become an engineer.

A close family friend of 22-year-old Anna Hoyt Busse of St.Albans, one of the victims, said the three were driving back towardSt. Albans on U.S. 60 after dropping off a friend in Montgomery whenthe accident occurred early Saturday morning.

"It was like she was with her best friend and her boyfriend," saidSusan Whaples, who attends Maranatha Fellowship with Busse and herfamily.
