NSW: Security guard charged over money missing from ATM

A security guard's been charged with theft after cash went missing from an ATM in Sydney's
south-west.

Police say a financial institution noticed discrepancies in the contents of the ATM
in George Street Liverpool .. earlier this month.

A 41-year-old man from Raby was arrested yesterday and charged with one count of breaking
.. entering and stealing.

Police allege the man was employed as a security guard with access to the machine when
cash was taken.

The man's been refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Liverpool Local Court today.
